A southern-based electronics distributor faced the departure of its CFO and needed an interim leader to oversee month-end close, consolidate three QuickBooks Online instances, manage 13-week cash flows and maintain KPI dashboards. Immediate coverage was essential to ensure a seamless transition while a permanent controller search was underway.
Though profitable with clean books, the company carried high debt in a cyclical market. Leadership required cost-effective finance expertise to keep reporting on track, support AR oversight and liaise with lenders – without reinventing established processes. Remote work was acceptable, but periodic on-site presence in Palm Bay was preferred.
