What is the BluWave MCP connector?

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants securely talk to outside services. The BluWave MCP connector exposes a curated set of BluWave capabilities to your AI tool, so you can take action on BluWave from inside Claude or any other MCP-compatible client.

Request introductions to service providers, look up engagement details, summarize your team's BluWave activity and pull insights, all by asking your AI assistant in plain English.

Step-by-step instructions

Prefer to read along, or doing this on a phone where video is awkward? Follow these three steps.

Open Claude and navigate to your connector settings

In Claude (desktop, web or mobile), open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. You'll need to be signed in to a Claude account that supports custom connectors.

Name the connector and paste the BluWave MCP server URL

Give the connector a name (we recommend BluWave) and paste in the server URL. Claude will use the name you choose when surfacing tools, so keep it short and recognizable.

Save and authenticate

Save the changes. The first time you use BluWave inside Claude you'll be asked to sign in, this links the connector to your BluWave account. That's it, you're connected.

Try it out

Once connected, ask Claude something like:

  • "Find me a quality of earnings provider for a $40M EBITDA SaaS deal closing in 30 days."

  • "Summarize my team's BluWave introductions this month."

  • "Get me an interim CFO with healthcare experience for a portfolio company in Nashville."
