Add the BluWave MCP Connector & Install the BluWave Skill
Open Claude and navigate to your connector settings
In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors.
Add the BluWave custom connector
Click + Add custom connector. Paste the BluWave MCP Connector URL: https://mcp.bluwave.app/mcp. Click Add and complete authentication if prompted.
Turn BluWave on in your chat
In any chat, click the + button, select Connectors, and toggle BluWave on.
Download the BluWave Skill file
Download the bluwave-projects.skill file to your computer.
Upload the Skill in Claude
In Claude, navigate to Customize → Skills and click Create Skill > Upload a skill. Select the bluwave-projects.skill file you downloaded.
Start a new chat and describe your need
Prompt Claude with something like "I need a company to help with an AI project." The Skill activates automatically when you describe a provider need.
Step-by-step Instructions
Add the BluWave MCP Connector & Install the BluWave Skill
Open Claude organization settings
Go to Organization settings → Connectors. You'll need Claude Admin rights to complete this setup.
Add the BluWave custom connector
Click + Add custom connector. Paste the BluWave MCP Connector URL: https://mcp.bluwave.app/mcp. Click Add.
Make it available to your team
Once added, the Connector is available for all members of your organization to enable individually in their own chats.
Enable Skills and Code execution
Go to Organization settings → Capabilities and toggle on both Code execution and file creation and Skills. Skills require code execution to function, so if code execution is disabled, Skills will not be available.
Upload the BluWave Skill at the org level
Go to Organization settings → Skills. In the Organization skills section, click + Add and upload the bluwave-projects.skill file.
Done. Your team is ready to go
The Skill is immediately provisioned to all users in your organization and appears under Customize → Skills with a team indicator. Users can toggle it off individually but can't delete it.
Once connected, ask Claude something like:

What is the BluWave MCP Connecter and Skill?
Together, they bring BluWave into Claude. The Connector is the secure link to sharing your project details with our team. The Skill guides you through defining your project need. Install both to get the full experience.
Is it secure?
Yes. The Connector uses the same authentication as the BluWave web app. Your AI client never sees your password, and you can revoke access anytime from your account settings. The Skill only sends information when you submit a request.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Both the Connector and Skill are included with your BluWave account. Introductions remain free as always.
Which Claude plans support custom connectors?
All of them: Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner has to add the Connector and Skill at the org level first. Skills also require Code execution and file creation to be enabled.
Can my whole team use this?
Yes. Everyone authenticates with their own BluWave login, so actions are attributed correctly. Admins can deploy both the Connector and Skill organization-wide in one step.
I'm getting a connection error. What now?
Confirm the Connector URL is exactly https://mcp.bluwave.app/mcp. For Skill issues, make sure it's toggled on under Customize → Skills and that Code execution is enabled. Still stuck? Email support@bluwave.com and we'll sort it the same day.
When will ChatGPT, Copilot, or Gemini be supported?
